Prepare to find yourself On “Q” the evening of April 19th and blown away by a debut event like you have never seen before in the Queen City. Local and national renowned artists will take to the stage of the Duke Power Theater to present an original choreopoem entitled; Miles & Coltrane: Blue (.).
Written by Concrete Generation, the performance will commemorate the lives of Miles Davis and John Coltrane - their work together and their differences as men. Directed by Quentin Talley (the Q in On Q), the North Carolina Dance Theater members will choreograph and perform the dance component, with music coordinator Corey McClure of “Soulganic”.
This event will also include a reception, silent auction and live avant-garde performance art.
